Who is Zeiss?

Matthew Zeiss is an American from Long Island, New York, of Polish descent, who has developed a deep bond with music from an early age. He was raised by parents who instilled in him an appreciation for many musical genres. However, it was the mesmerizing sound of Elvis Presley that appealed to him the most.

Matthew Zeiss is not only a charismatic live performer but also a talented songwriter. Over the years, he has professionally recorded several of his own songs, which resulted in the production of 6 albums.

Currently living in Sweden, Matthew founded The TCE Band, a band composed of talented Swedish musicians. Together they captivate audiences with their interpretations of Elvis classics such as Burnin' Love, Power Of My Love and Polk Salad Annie.

Matthew Zeiss does not copy Elvis either with his appearance or the way he sings. He delights the audience with his original voice and performing Elvis songs in an interesting interpretation. Among Elvis Presley's many hits, he chooses those that are rarely sing by other performers.

Matthew Zeiss also has songs in his repertoire that Elvis intended to record or that he might have sung had he lived longer. Thanks to this, Matthew Zeiss gives us the opportunity to enjoy songs that Elvis probably would have recorded. The idea of singing songs intended for Elvis but never recorded by him resulted in the creation of the Moody Blue album in January 2024 and a wonderful concert at Varberg Teater in Sweden.

The winner of the European Elvis Festival 2023

One of the great achievements of Zeiss and The TCE Band is winning 1st place in the Elvis Presley song competition during the European Elvis Festival in Bad Nauheim in August 2023 in Germany.
